How does our garden grow? With help from volunteers like you, of course!
If you are interested in getting your hands dirty this spring and summer, Bartow-Pell is offering horticulture volunteer opportunities throughout its 10-acre site.
As a horticulture volunteer, your time, talent, and enthusiasm would be put to use under the supervision of BPMM’s Volunteer Coordinators Maxine Siegel and Geneva Galioto and Gardener Vicky Namansworth weeding, planting annuals in the terraced garden, maintaining the Lenape area’s outdoor classroom, caring for the herbs and vegetables in two dedicated gardens, keeping the pollinator garden tidy, maintaining the pebble court and paths, and, more.
If you enjoy working with your hands and being outdoors or need a few service hours for high school, this opportunity is for you.
Volunteer Gardening Days are from 10am to 12pm on the following dates:
