Join museum educator and NASA Solar System Ambassador Robin Vernuccio for an exciting children’s workshop honoring the 50^th anniversary of Apollo 11. Participants will become lunar historians exploring how the moon was thought of through the ages. To set the atmosphere, the children will create their own Apollo t-shirts, study the lunar landscape and become familiar with moon rocks. Finally, the young rocket scientists will create simple rockets to attempt a landing on the moon!
