Join Archeologist Eugene J. Boesch, Ph.D. in the Double Parlors to learn about pre-contact Native American history and the archeology specific to this area.

Dr. Boesch received a Ph.D. in Anthropology from New York University, specializing in Native American cultures and adaptations in the Eastern Woodlands of North America. He has operated a cultural resource firm in the Hudson Valley for over twenty years and has taught at various area colleges and universities. Dr. Boesch serves as a member of the Westchester County and Putnam County Historic Preservation Advisory Committees and in 2022 earned the New York State Historic Preservation Award from the NY State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation to honor excellence in the protection and revitalization of historic and cultural resources.
