Plan a Visit to Bartow-Pell
Visiting Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum, with its splendid Greek Revival interiors and country setting in Pelham Bay Park, is especially wonderful during the holidays. It's A Very New York Storybook Christmas from December 4 to January 6 with trees throughout the period rooms inspired by children's books and decorated by professional designers.
As the only grand 19th-century country house still in existence on Pelham Bay, the museum provides an important link to the social and architectural history of New York. Visitors may take guided tours of the mansion and carriage house, view the collection of furnishings, fine and decorative arts, or stroll the grounds and formal garden.
Group Tours are available by appointment only.
